Background
Rising Flames is a personal project depicting the design of a blog website for creatives. The blog covers experimental and out-of-the-box trends, initiatives, and opinions from the world's foremost creators across various lines of design and artistic expression.
This project involves defining, at a high level, the basics of the user interface design for the blog's development: product concept, grids, breakpoints, and a modest UI kit.
Another personal challenge for this project was to enforce the use of a black and white color scheme as well as Times New Roman for the typography. The former provides high contrast to the art pieces and content, while the latter represents a revisit to an iconic typeface underrated in the user interface context.
